OYA Mission and Vision
The Opportunity Youth Academy (OYA) strives to break the cycle of poverty by providing high school students, who have dropped out of school or are otherwise disengaged from school, the opportunity to complete their high school education. OYA views disengaged students as 鈥楢t-Promise鈥� as opposed to 鈥楢t鈥怰isk鈥�. To that end, OYA鈥檚 organizational mission is to provide a premier high school dropout recovery program engaging students through relationship鈥� focused, high鈥恡ech, and rigorous learning experiences resulting in students and graduates being 鈥淩eady to Learn, Ready to Work and Ready to Live鈥�.
